Dental Implants: A Permanent Solution That Feels Like Your Own Tooth

A dental implant is the closest thing modern dentistry can offer to a natural tooth: a small titanium post is placed into the jawbone where your tooth's root used to be. Over a few months, the bone fuses to the implant. A process called osseointegration. Once that's complete, a custom crown is attached on top.

The result looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth. You brush and floss it normally. It doesn't shift or click like a denture, and because the implant stimulates the jawbone the way a natural root does, it prevents the bone loss that occurs with other tooth-replacement options.
